How far the belt has wandered, measured

Finds the punched-hole column and the belt edge in a camera image, and reports the lateral shift at three heights — top, middle and bottom. Checkerboard calibration turns pixels into millimetres, so the number on screen is the number on the belt.

Who it is for. Line operators and anyone setting up a conveyor run.

What it does well

Three heights, not one

A belt that has wandered is rarely parallel to where it should be, and a single reading hides that.

Calibrated, not estimated

A checkerboard target fixes the scale, so the reading is in millimetres rather than pixels.
